Last week in London, the phone that some are calling the "iPhone killer" was unveiled. It's the HTC Touch Diamond-a small, sleek, Windows-based gadget featuring an intensely high-resolution 2.8-inch screen with an iPhone-esque touch interface, a 4 gig hard drive, 3.2 megapixel camera, and high-speed data capabilities. The phone arrives in June throughout Europe. Incidentally, that's the month that the highly anticipated second-generation iPhone is expected to hit stores in the U.S. The HTC diamond has a vague North American release date of the "second half of 2008." Will it get here on the early side-say, by September 31st?
